After graduating from high school in 1989 to 1993Studies in Law at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen as well as legal clerkship and 2nd State Examination in Law in 1996 in Marburg
1996 to 1997Lawyer in a regional law firm
1997Doctorate in Law by the Justus Liebig University in Gießen
since 1999Various teaching assignments at the University of Bayreuth; since winter term 2006/07 teaching assignment as private lecturer at the University of Bayreuth
June 2006Post-doctoral degree by the Faculty of Law, Business and Economics of the University of Bayreuth (venia legendi for Civil Law, Intellectual Property and Copyright Law, Commercial and Business Law)
since 2006Examiner for the 1st State Examination in Law (Bayreuth), since 2013 also examiner for the 2nd State Examination in Law (Kassel)
since 1997Judge at the Kassel Regional Court, 2001 to 2002 also judicial advisor and head of the management supervisory body at the Kassel Regional Court, 2008/09 secondment to the Frankfurt Higher Regional Court
