Dr. Florian Skupin has been a lecturer at the University of Bayreuth since 2022. After completing his Master's degree in Management & Business Development (Leuphana University of Lüneburg), he studied law at the University of Bayreuth from 2014 to 2019, attending a supplementary programme in economics. His specialization lies in the field of "Intellectual Property and Competition". Dr. Florian Skupin completed his doctorate at the University of Bayreuth (thesis title: "Rechtsdurchsetzende nichtanwaltliche Dienstleister").

Since May 2019, he has been a research assistant and lecturer at the Munich Institute for Copyright and Media Law, where he supervises academic conferences, among other things. In addition, Dr. Florian Skupin works as a lecturer and regularly publishes on topics in the field of intellectual property, industrial property and legal tech.

He is an alumnus of the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes e.V. and a member of the selection committee for new students.
